FRANKLIN, Tenn. – 12/03/25 – Manchester Tank & Equipment (MTE), a global leader in steel and aluminum tank manufacturing, today announced it will now serve the Canadian market directly. This shift follows MTE’s 2024 acquisition of Ditech Testing and reflects significant investment in the company’s operations, positioning MTE to support customers of all sizes with stronger service, better pricing and a full one-stop-shop offering.
As part of this transition, MTE and National Energy & Equipment (NEE) have mutually agreed to conclude their distribution relationship. MTE thanks NEE for their partnership and wishes them continued success.
“We feel strongly that serving customers directly is the best path forward for our market," said Manchester Tank President Jordan de Lima. “This decision reflects our commitment to deliver more competitive pricing, clearer communication and seamless access to new tanks, refurbished tanks and full lifecycle services under the combined MTE and Ditech umbrella. It’s a win-win for our customers and our company.”
De Lima added, “We’ve invested significantly in our operations and expanded our Canadian sales team so we can confidently support customers both large and small with the quality and service they expect. We believe strongly that product sold by a Canadian company, backed by North American manufacturing, remains the best option for the propane industry in this market.”
Key Benefits for Canadian Customers:
- A True One-Stop-Shop: Seamless access to MTE’s full portfolio of new tanks and Ditech’s testing and refurbishment programs—all through a single Canadian point of contact
- Direct Cost Savings: With the distribution layer removed, customers gain access to more competitive, transparent pricing
- Enhanced Support & Local Presence: A bolstered Canadian sales team ensures faster service, better communication, and stronger partnership across regions
- North American Manufacturing Advantage: Reliable supply, consistent quality and reduced lead times backed by MTE’s U.S. and expanded Canadian facilities.
Existing customers who previously worked with MTE through NEE will be contacted directly by the MTE team to ensure a seamless transition. New customers are encouraged to reach out to discover how MTE's expanded Canadian presence can benefit their operations.
"This is an exciting time for MTE and for the Canadian propane industry," added de Lima. "We're committed to building strong, direct relationships with our Canadian partners and providing them with the comprehensive solutions they need to succeed.”
