Critical Mass of Customer Demand Dictates Broader Presence
Dallas, TX – May 16, 2016 – In response to local customer demand, Zinwave, a global provider of wideband distributed network solutions for in-building wireless, today announced that it has opened an office in Netley, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. South Australia, in addition to being central to Zinwave’s expanding client base, is a center of technological excellence, featuring several world renowned universities, a Technology Park, and high tech manufacturing facilities.
Zinwave has operated through a distributor in Australia for many years, providing its UNItivity distributed access platform for such properties as the Westfield shopping center in Sydney and the Rialto Towers in Melbourne, but now the company is expanding its presence to leverage new opportunities in the commercial real estate, hospital, and public venue sectors, among others.
Zinwave’s UNItivity platform is uniquely suited for bringing indoor wireless coverage to buildings because it offers the industry’s lowest installation cost and the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO). With Zinwave’s wideband DAS platform, customers install the system once and can then upgrade to support new frequencies without hardware upgrades.
“We anticipate strong market demand for our solutions in Australia, so we’re expanding our presence to better serve our customers,” said Scott Willis, president and CEO of Zinwave. “Opening this office underscores our commitment to the Australian market.”
Zinwave’s UNItivity platform is the only truly future-proof, universal wireless access solution on the market. UNItivity’s unique wideband architecture breaks the cycle of endless DAS upgrades because it supports any frequency from 150 MHz to 2700 MHz, accommodating current and future wireless services without hardware upgrades. In addition, UNItivity’s streamlined, all-fiber architecture makes it more reliable and much easier to install than traditional DAS solutions. Zinwave has a global customer base and is a subsidiary of McWane Inc. (www.mcwane.com), a privately held US manufacturing company and owners of a global group of wireless technology companies.
